I am sick of people trying to compare themselves with me (indirectly) about how comparatively good or screwed their job/paycheck is.

I can only advice you guys "Comparing should be done only with your inner-self not with anyone outside in this world and also get a life. Enjoy your life doing what you love not by doing what others love. Have a sense of what you are talking. Stop judging peoples you don't have that qualification.

Was thinking of getting started with Django today but kind of got bored after reading upto its 3rd Chapter, Maybe will try it after sometime.

                 On further wandering online found Pygames [A Game module in python for creating video games] & started learning from its tutorial  right now. Its 1 am now if i get bored now i will definetly go to sleep then.

So I had finally convinced my self to study the religious book "Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs" and found there are video lectures available for that Mit Rocks.

The language they had used is Scheme (an obscure dialect of lisp) which initially is looking awesome to me.The search for a compiler/IDE of scheme is an frustrating experience.Majority of them are no longer supported & there aren't good tutorials for getting started.But after some good amount of googling found this awesome newbie article on DrScheme which started me instantly.

The world is buzzing with advancements in cloud computing,quantum computing etc. etc. But the thing i am looking forward for is Artificial intelligence (altough quatum computing also).
                                     Just think of a day when an computer with AI get infected with an virus of its own intelligence.It would be awesome to see who will win.

While Installing openbsd 4.9 on my amd phenom II x4 955 B.E the cd didnt boot it just halt after displaying this

cpu at mainbus 0:not configured

Some digging & googling came with this solution.
When the system starts booting stop the automatic booting process by pressing any key.Now enter

Boot -c
Disable acpi

which basically disable all the acpi crap to get you running with the installation process which is given on their site if you dont know.
